• The opportunity to help students build greater independence
• Collaboration with experienced teachers and special education professionals
• Training and professional development
• A role where patience, adaptability, and compassion have a direct impact
What You’ll Do
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students
• Follow IEP-directed academic and behavioral supports
• Help students develop communication, social, self-help, and daily living skills
• Assist with toileting, hygiene, and personal-care needs when required
• Implement behavior and positive-support strategies under teacher direction
• Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and throughout the school day
• Respond appropriately to behavioral or crisis situations according to established protocols
• Provide active supervision and physical assistance when needed
• Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and related service providers

What You’ll Bring
